Jodie Wood Talks Tanning Tips and Baby Number Two!

We chat to Jodie about all things beauty, life and the launch of her favourite new beauty must have from Bondi Sands

As life is getting a little busier again, what is your favourite occasion to tan for at the moment?

I’m loving being able to go out to dinner and get dressed up again! A tan is always my favourite way to complete any look!

Talk us through the bits in your beauty regime you couldn’t live without?

My go to has always been lash extensions, a brow tint and a weekly application of Bondi Sands Aero Dark Foam. I am usually pushed for time and really only wear makeup when I am working so the basics help me feel confident and put together when I’ve no time for anything else.

What are your top tips on how to achieve that perfect deep bronzed look?

I always start with removing any old tan residue before I do a fresh layer, that means an application of Bondi Sands Self Tan Eraser. I apply it and let it sit on my skin for a few minutes before hopping in the shower and gently buffing it off with their exfoliating mitt. Next I shave my legs and hop out to dry off. For a guaranteed streak free finish, I always use the Bondi Sands reusable Application Mitt to apply my tan. My top tip for perfect hands and feet is to mix in a little of the Gradual Tanning Milk when working on those areas!

What are your top three ultimate self-care tips?

It sounds simplistic but making sure you get enough sleep, drinking enough water, and doing one thing every day that makes you feel happy. Whether that’s a beauty regime or a walk, it’s important to take time for yourself.

It’s such an exciting time for you, as you’re expecting a little brother or sister for little Milo. Is he really excited?

We are all super excited, it’s flying in now! Milo is still so young I don’t think he has a clue what’s coming, he’s definitely in for a shock but I know he will be the best big brother

As a Bondi Sands ambassador, what is your favourite product and why?

The new Aero Ultra Dark has been my obsession since it launched here! It is the perfect deep bronzed shade that makes me look like I have just had a week in the Bahamas. I love that it has an olive base which means it never looks orange and wears off naturally unlike so many tans I had tried in the past.

What makes Aero Ultra Dark such a game changing product?

I love how fast it dries, within minutes of application my skin is completely dry and I’m free to get dressed. I am usually going to bed so I pop on pjs and can get straight into my white sheets knowing they are safe from staining!

What is your favourite day of the week to do your tan? How do you manage your tan for the rest of the week?

I usually tan on a Thursday so that it’s fresh for the weekend. I love to then apply the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk on a Monday, this tops me up and keeps my skin hydrated for the rest of the week!
