Blake Lively Just Got Oh-So Real About The Sweatiness Of Her Summer Pregnancy

We feel ya, Blake.

Like us, Blake Lively is currently battling her way through the summer heat.

Unlike us, she’s also doing a raft of TV press for her latest film, The Shallows. Oh, and she’s at least six months pregnant. Basically, she’s a total sweat-busting superhero.

As with her last pregnancy, the actress has been rocking some seriously killer maternity style of late, but she admitted on the Jimmy Fallon Show this week that it’s not easy being heavily pregnant at this time of year, especially when you’re expected to look camera-ready every dang day.

“It should be illegal to be pregnant in New York in July,” she joked. “I have to wear like, bondage. I swear, I’m going to make my water break just to cool down.”

And even Blake has those I-just-want-to-lie-on-the-couch-and-not-move moments when the weather gets too hot, it seems.

“Everybody says ‘How are you feeling?’ but they don’t really want to hear how you’re feeling,” she told Jimmy. “They don’t want to sit there while you complain, so you guys get to sit here while I complain.”

As for Blake’s first child, one-year-old James, the actress revealed that things have gotten a “little confusing” at home, thanks to a cardboard cut-out of Jimmy Fallon that’s been lying around the Lively-Reynolds household.

Blake showed a home video of little James pointing to the cut-out – a gift from Jimmy during Blake’s last appearance on the chat show – and calling it “dada.” Awks!

 

Here’s hoping they remove that cut-out before baby number two arrives…
