Here’s How Kim Ended Up Wearing A Skirt From An IRISH Retailer Out For Dinner Last Night

Gal has good taste.

Kim and Kanye’s love story definitely has a few ties with Ireland. The couple honeymooned here back in 2014, staying at Ballyfin Demesne in Co. Laois, and Kanye’s had a few solo visits here too.

It’s exciting, but not exactly surprising then, that Kim has updated her wardrobe with a few pieces from an Irish retailer of late.

Last night, the reality superstar was spotted out for dinner with Kanye in New York, sporting a black velvet Escada skirt from Irish-founded site Open For Vintage. The skirt is a womens’ size 8-10 and retailed on site for €408.

Based in England, Open For Vintage is the brainchild of three Irish partners, Carlow woman Sarah Kate Byrne, Wicklow native James Loftus, and the company CEO, Dubliner Colin Saunders.

So how exactly did an Open For Vintage skirt come to be in the hands of Kim K? “One stylist who sources a lot of Kim’s clothes came across the site and felt that it would work well for her,” a brand spokesperson told Stellar.ie.

“We arranged for a number of items to be sent to LA, and Kim purchased some of them, including the vintage Escada skirt amongst others. It’s great that she loved it enough to wear it on her Valentine’s date with Kanye!”

Sadly, as the skirt is vintage it’s from a limited stock and is no longer available, but Open For Vintage does has a massive array of other vintage delights, both with a Kim Kardashian-esque price tag and without.

Kim’s not the only K-sib who’s a fan of buying Irish, of course. Her older sister Kourtney recently gave the Irish Fairy Door Company a shout-out on Snapchat, while Kylie Jenner’s a fan of Cocoa Brown Tan. Honn the Irish!
