Scarlett Moffatt Has Scored Her First Presenting Job Since Winning I’m A Celeb And It’s Super Exciting
She's basically going to be the new Davina McCall.
Ever since Scarlett Moffatt made us LOL our asses off on Gogglebox for the first time, we’ve been rooting for her to become a big success.
Since then she’s been crowned queen of the jungle, paid off her parents mortgage, released a fitness DVD and now, she’s bagged her very first TV presenting role.
Go Scar!
The reality star was tipped to be the new presenter of Channel 4’s version of The Great British Bake Off, but has instead been confirmed as the new face of another Channel 4 show: Streetmate.
It’s a show from the 90s that featured a young Davina McCall as its presenter.
Think of it as Blind Date without the studio. Basically the show’s presenter runs around the streets looking for single people to hook up together, and then interviews them afterwards about how the date went.
Speaking of her new job, Scarlett told The Telegraph: “I can’t believe Channel 4 have asked me to present this iconic show. I remember watching Davina on Streetmate when I was younger and thinking, females can present entertainment shows too. I want to do that when I’m older.
“It’s such a fun show and it’s two of my favourite things to do, chat to randomers and a love story.”
If you ask us, it suits Scarlett and her bubbly personality down to a tee. We’ve no doubt she’ll make a deadly matchmaker.
