A Friends Musical Is Coming To Ireland Next Year!
It's coming to loads of venues across Ireland!
Friends fans who are still holding out hope for a movie will be happy to know that a musical show is coming to Ireland next year.
Friends! The Musical Parody, the hit Off-Broadway and Las Vegas show, is touring the UK and Ireland from March to May 2020.
Friends! The Musical Parody takes a hilarious look and remembers the TV phenomenon that ruled the 90’s and became a cultural institution with millions of fans across the globe. Like the original television series, Friends! The Musical Parody follows the lives of six wacky 20-somethings and goes back in time to celebrate and poke fun at some of their most iconic moments as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life, and love in 1990’s Manhattan.
The fun begins on an ordinary day at the corner coffee show, Central Perk, when a certain runaway bride, with the signature hairstyle, stumbles into the lives of five other friends and kicks the whole gang out of second gear.
Of course, the original cast members aren’t involved in the show but the musical promises that the talented cast nail the quirks, the mannerisms and the catchphrases of our favourite characters.
It comes to Ireland on the 21st of April at National Opera Hous in Wexford followed by Waterford, Drogheda, Kilkenny, Killarney, Limerick, Galway, Castlebar, and then Dublin’s Bord Gais for three nights from the 16th of May.
Tickets are around €30, and on sale now, with Bord Gais tickets going on sale from September 20th.
