Ben Affleck And Matt Damon’s New Movie Is Shooting In Ireland, And They’re Looking For Extras

Ben and Matt won't be there for the casting call, unforch.

Fancy yourself as a bit of an ac-TOR? A huge movie is shooting in Ireland next month, and they’re looking for extras.

The Last Duel is set to be directed by Ridley Scott, the man behind such iconic films as Alien, Blade Runner, and Gladiator, and star Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Adam Driver and Jodie Comer.

The period drama tells the story of two French knights (and former best friends) who are ordered to fight to the death after one accuses the other of raping his wife.

Shooting will take place in March in Wicklow, Meath and Tipperary, so you can expect big Hollywood stars to be spotted all over the country in the next few months.

How can you get in on the action? Well, an open casting call for The Last Duel will take place in Dublin’s Liberty Hall this Friday, February 21, between 10am and 6pm.

The producers are looking for all sorts of people to fill the roles (including people with quirky looks or skills), it’s a paid gig, and you don’t need to have any prior experience in acting.

You will need to be a full-time resident of Ireland with a working visa and PPS number, and have your clothing measurements to hand for the application form.

Other than that, all you have to do is turn up any time between the hours stated and impress the crew. You never know, you might be seeing yourself on the big screen very soon…
