Food Envy! 3 Epic Cork City Brunch Spots To Try This Weekend
Aaaaaall the eggs. And bacon.
Down south this weekend? Cork city is jampacked with killer brunch spots offering up everything from perfectly poached eggs to decadent blueberry pancakes.
Add a mimosa or two into the mix and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect weekend morning.
Here are three spots to keep on your Cork radar, boi…
1. Liberty Grill, Washington St
This long-time Cork favourite is closed Sundays, but serves up an epic brunch menu every Saturday – and on weekdays too if you’re a lady of leisure. Their Crab Cake Hollandaise is to die for.
2. Brick Lane, South Main St
If their Belgian waffles or homemade granola don’t take your fancy, we recommend the Eggs Royale. Just look at those perfectly scrambled eggs…
3. Gulpd Cafe, Triskel Arts Centre
This relaxed cafe is the perfect Sunday hangover spot. There’s a DJ playing killer tunes inside, and if it’s sunny you can grab a table in the sunny courtyard backing onto Bishop Lucey Park.
