Jamie Dornan And Emily Blunt Are Making A Film In Mayo – And They Need Extras

It's a star-studded movie, and you could star alongside them!

Jamie Dornan, Emily Blunt, Jon Hamm, Dearbhla Molloy and Christopher Walken are all going to be working in Mayo this month, and you could be there with them.

The actors are working on a film, Wild Mountain Thyme, and West Coast Casting are looking for extras to be in it.

They’re looking for adults of all ages and a small number of children for family party scenes.

The paid work will be shot between Crossmolina and Ballina, Co Mayo, between September and November 2019.

It’s open to everyone but even better if you’re from Mayo because priority will be given to people applying from Crossmolina, Ballina and surrounding areas.

If you think you can handle standing very close to attractive stars like Jamie and Emily, then it could be fun!

The extras casting call will be held from 10.00-16.00 on Saturday 14th September at the Ballina Arts Centre. If you can’t make it, applicants can email their details with a recent to photo to westcoastcastingireland@gmail.com.

Wild Mountain Thyme, which is set in Ireland, follows Anthony (Dornan), who is always out in the fields working and is worn down by the constant belittling from his father (Walken). His father has threatened to bequeath the family farm to his American cousin Adam (Hamm). Rosemary (Blunt) holds a grudge for having been shamed by Anthony in childhood, and the sparks between them fly. Her mother, Aoife (Molloy), strives to unite the families before it is too late.
