A Brand New Sober Board Games Bar Just Landed In Dublin

Just in time for dry Jan!

Are you sick of the pub after gracing its door too much over Christmas?

It seems like half the country have decided to jump into dry January to detox from all the drink, and we get it.

Also, some of us are just sober curious or long time sober ladies, so going out to the club isn’t all that appealing any time of the year.

That’s why we’re obsessed with this brand new sober Dublin venue!

Board is a new spot in the capital city that’s opened its doors as an alcohol free space packed with board games.

They’re open Wednesday to Sunday, 8am til late, and they’re located at 29 Clanbrassil Street Upper, Dublin 8.

The café meets bar meets event space have over 200 board games you can entertain yourself with as you hang out, from 30 Seconds to Yahtzee to Harry Potter Wizard Chess. Gas.

The menu offers brunch till four, then pizza after that, and a wide selection of non alcohol drinks, including tea, coffee, kombucha, beer and cocktails.

(We’ve got our eyes on that mango mocktail. Mmmm.)

Board will have events on throughout the week, from live music to comedy, quizzes and bingo.

They’re also open for events, so if you’ve got a work do or are looking for a wholesome birthday night, hit them up!

And if that wasn’t everything, dogs and kids are also more than welcome – so don’t be shy about bringing along your fur baby…or your child!
