Fashion Travel Hacks That You Need To Try On Your Next Trip
Pack your bags and get ready to fly!
It’s that time of year when everyone and their mother starts thinking about taking a few days out of the hustle and bustle of life and start thinking about where to spend their holiday. Whether you’re jetting off on a big trip, grabbing some sunshine in the Mediterranean or having a much needed staycation down the country, we all could do with some tips for being oh so stylish when we’re away.
The only struggle with planning a holiday (apart from airport security) is trying to fit all your luggage into the teeny tiny suitcase. It may say 10kg but it looks like it holds half that! So we have collected the best fashion travel hacks that will make sure you can keep being your fashionable self without buying an extra suitcase.
Blister Pads Are Your Best Friend

If you haven’t heard of Compeed, then I am about to make your week! Blisters are inevitable when you’re going on a city break and it’s Compeed blister pads that you need to reach for. It’s as if your blisters never happened… however blisters aren’t the only thing these plastic blister pads are great for. If you’re a heels girlie like myself, then you know the pain of being out on a girls holiday in the wee-hours and having to sit down because the pain from your heels has won. Fear not! When you’re on your girls holiday this year put some blister pads on the soles of your feet (mainly the heel and ball of your feet) and you’ll be dancing it up all night long. Wave goodbye to tired feet!
Always Bring A Change Of Clothes In Your Carry On
Whether we like it or not, sometimes things happen and airlines lose luggage. We can take all the precautions in the world, however once the check-in bag is out of our hands, in Ryanair we must trust! To make sure you’re always prepared, make sure to pack a spare change of clothes in your carry-on. A comfy pair of leggings and change of top is all you need. I can guarantee that if your luggage is left behind in Dublin airport, you’re going to thank your lucky stars that planned ahead.
Pack To Your Itinerary
While it may be tempting to just throw a little bit of everything into your suitcase at the last minute, planning your packing will save you a lot of stress and hassle in the long run. Having a vague idea of how many nights out you’ll have, if you’ll be walking a lot or chilling by the pool or if you’re going to be doing any activities will allow you to pack without needing to check in another bag. We have all been there – you open your bag onto to realise you have a great top, but nothing to go with it and bring shoes you never end up wearing. Having an idea of your itinerary will make sure you don’t end up packing things you don’t need and waste valuable baggage space.
Have A Clear Makeup Bag

Airport security can be one of the most infuriating aspects of flying. Multiple bags, different size liquids and bottle and if you’re anything like me, you always end up forgetting to put some of your toiletries in the clear bag and having your bag torn apart by the security officials. One way to avoid all the drama? Get yourself a clear makeup bag so you don’t have to divide your toiletries ever again! This one by Sculpted by Aimee is a sure fire way to ease the security drama – now if only it would help with the drama of taking your shoes off for the security machine!
