Big Ben here we come!

A weekend away in London sounds like a dream, and at Christmas time…well that’s just pure magic!

The city of London has so much to offer during the Winter season; fabulous shopping, their iconic Christmas markets, the enchanting lights, Winter Wonderlands, and the incredible shows on display on West End.

If you’re worried about how you’re going to squeeze all the fun into one weekend, we’ve got you covered.

We’ve rounded up all of the unmissable places for you to visit in London this holiday season!

Here’s our 3-Day London Itinerary: Christmas Edition.

Day 1

So, you’ve just landed. Waste no time and check into your hotel because you’ve got a busy schedule ahead!

1. The first stop is in the heart of the city at Somerset House.

Here you can enjoy ice-skating with the most picturesque view of the home of London’s cultural innovators. Skating around these grounds will make you feel like you’re in a scene from a movie!

2. Next stop? Trafalgar Square is just a one-minute walk from Somerset. You’ll be welcomed by an array of German-style Christmas Markets.

3. Covent Garden is arguably the most Christmassy place of all in London, and it’s just a seven-minute walk from Trafalgar.

Browse world-class brands and artisan stalls at the Apple market, whilst taking in the breath-taking atmosphere around you. Covent Garden is world famous for its Christmas lights, décor and 60ft tree.

4. Pit stop! Just six minutes away is the road of Seven Dials. Pop into St. Martins House for a festive bevvy, or Apple Butter café for a hot choccie.

5. Finally, finish your evening on Regent Street and Carnaby Street, admire the marvellous display of Christmas lights and grab a bite to eat.

Day 2

Morning

Get up and at ’em! Today you will spend the first half of the day on one of London’s acclaimed hop-on hop-off Bus Tours. We would recommend taking the blue line of the Big Bus Tours to get the most out of your day!

From just £40, and with over 30 stops, you will be transported through this wonderful city with the opportunity to see some, if not all, of London’s most famous sights.

Catch Notting Hill, Kensington Gardens, Waterloo, St. Pauls Cathedral, London Bridge and Buckingham Palace.

A River cruise is also included in the price!

This is undoubtedly the best way to get a proper feel for the busy city.

Evening

After your long day of touring the town, it’s time to get back to your hotel, have a little rest and then doll yourself up, because tonight you will be heading to the West End to see a show.

This winter, London Theatres will have showings of some of Broadway’s most renowned performances including; Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton, Les Misérables, A Christmas Carol and the Nutcracker.

Before you settle in, enjoy a pre-show meal at one of London’s top restaurants.

Here’s three of our favourite suggestions:

– Frenchie Convent Garden if you’re feeling fancy.

– Bocca di Lupo for an Italian foodie vibe.

– Le Garrick for something casual and wholesome.

One of London’s largest annual Christmas events held in the beautiful Hyde Park, Winter Wonderland has got it all,

There’s high adrenaline rides, cosy fire pit bars, mystical ice lands, street food and theatrical performances.

It’s a whimsical place that you’ve got to pay a visit to at least once in your life if you get the chance!

Finally, end your night with a drink in one of London’s most Christmassy pubs, Churchill arms, in Kensington.

If you’ve managed to tick everything off the list, then congratulations, you have successfully completed 3 days of Christmas in London!
