Aww! There’s A Dog Festival Coming To Dublin And It Sounds Like Heaven On Earth TBH

There'll be fancy dress and a dog and human look-alike competition!

Forget music festivals for a moment because doggie festivals are where it’s at, well, in September at least, because The Doggie Do 2017 is coming to town.

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than celebrating the unique bond we share with our canine friends? The event promises cultural talks with dog friendly artists and writers, photography demos, *and* a dog and human look-alike competition.

But the attraction we’re most excited for? The annual canine costume competition: ‘The Dog of Dublin’. Can you cope with the cuteness?!

Specialist Canine Carers from Dogs Trust will be on hand to provide information to anyone hoping to adopt a pet, while others from the team will have an Education Station where dog owners can get lots of tips and advice on dog welfare and safety.

Festival goers can also expect top trainers, a secure off-leash area (The Do Run-Run) and tons of interactive entertainment, including a chill out zone called ‘Doggie and Soul’ for those four legged friends feeling a little overwhelmed.

Excuse us while we plan our outfits…
