How To Make A Gorge Disaronno Cocktail At Home

A delicious treat.

As expected, Ireland’s second summer arrived in full swing at the beginning of September, as we were treated to blue skies, high temperatures, and delicious drinks.

Autumn may well and truly be among us now, but that doesn’t matter because we can still enjoy the endless Dolce Vita that comes with meeting friends, catching up, and enjoying a delicious cocktail while we’re at it.

Earlier this month, some of Ireland’s most well-known faces stepped out in Cork’s Montenotte to celebrate the second summer with a hint of the Dolce Vita, thanks to Disaronno.

The Disaronno Fizz Sips & Sounds Brunch series took place in the hotel’s The Glasshousewhere, where guests basked in the glorious sunshine and enjoyed a cocktail masterclass and a delicious brunch.

They also enjoyed a Disaronno Fizz, a delicious, easy-to-make cocktail that boasts a bold, rich, Italian taste. The perfect al fresco aperitif, if you ask us – you’ll think you’re on the Amalfi coast no matter the temperature!

So, how exactly do you create this refreshing Disaronno Fizz cocktail recipe at home, we hear you ask? It’s actually super simple.

Disaronno brand ambassador Roberto Garcia has got a few hints: “The secret to creating the perfect summer cocktail is simplicity. Disaronno Fizz is quick and easy to make and offers the refreshing ritual of an Italian aperitivo with all the taste and little fuss.”

You’ll need:

  • 45 ml Disaronno
  • 150 ml soda water or sparkling water
  • 15 ml fresh lemon juice

Method:

  • Pour Disaronno over ice, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and top up with soda water.

  • Lastly, enjoy!
