What’s On This Weekend?
HURRAH! It's an extra long weekend. Here's what's happening for Easter.
Barn dancing at BD Festival
In a party mood? Get yourself to BD Festival barndance in Glendalough, Co Wicklow – it’s kinda like a BYOB rave in a forest, and we hear the line up is deadly this year. There’ll be a number of pop-ups and food places dotted about selling some lovely bits too. Buses are leaving Dublin from 2.45pm onwards on Friday and tickets are €64.50.
Get some Brunch in Blas Cafe
Brunch has gotta be our fave thing to do on a lazy Saturday, and we’re dying to try Blas Cafe on King’s Inn Street. They’re Dublin’s best kept secret apparently, and we’ve heard some amazing things. Just remember they only take cash!
Vintage goodies at kilo sale
Love markets? Then you better catch the Kilo Sale taking place on Saturday in the Radisson Blu Hotel between 10am-7pm. It’s €1 for entry, and there’ll be a DJ, and food and drink. Plus, its only €20 per kilo of clothing. Uh, hello bargains. You can find out all the info you need right here. Oh, and happy shopping!
DJ Koze in District 8
Wanna dance? DJ Koze is playing on Saturday night in District 8 and tickets are going for €15 from Resident Advisor. He’s being supported by Romare and it’ll be a great gig if you’re into electronic or light house music.
Drunch at The Odeon
How nice is it that we’re off on Monday? Head to Dublin’s biggest ever day-time brunch party on Sunday if you fancy a tipple or two. It’s on in The Odeon on Harcourt Street and you can expect a beautiful brunch menu, cocktails (one free on arrival) and music across two floors, plus an outdoor terrace. Possibly the biggest party going on this weekend and crazy good fun. Get your €15 ticket right here.
The Relaunch of The South William
The folks over at The South William are doing a relaunch on Sunday, with a FREE BBQ and 40% off all drinks. Woohoo! There’ll be three floors of music and fun too. Check out their Facebook page for all the info.
Happy Easter guys! Save us an easter egg, yeah?
