No spoilers, we promise!

There’s nothing like learning how much an actor earns to make you feel like you’ve pursued the wrong career… But such is life.

The cast of HBO’s Game of Thrones are particularly well-off, which comes as no surprise given it’s the biggest show in the world right now with an average of two million viewers per episode.

According to Variety, Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), and Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) are all raking in a whopping $500,000 per episode of the show. PER EPISODE.

That totals to $5 million per season… Not bad for a year’s work, eh?

The extras in the show are pretty well paid too, with Belfast Live reporting that some of the luckier ones take in £500 for a day on set. Depending on their role, most extras will earn £80 for the first six hours on set, and £35 per hour after that.
