The Most Popular Place For A First Date Has Been Revealed, And Nope, It’s Not The Pub!
Research has revealed the top spot for a first date and we think you're gonna be pretty surprised.
We have a teeny tiny confession to make. Here at STELLAR, when we’re heading off to meet a hot new date, we like to have a drink in hand (we’re talking a small glass of wine here, not 13 tequila slammers) to ease those old first date jitters.
We were a little surprised, when we heard that the most popular first date location isn’t a pub.
We also wanna head somewhere with a decent atmosphere, so if said new date is a bit of a bore, or there’s zero chemistry, well, at least the night won’t be a complete loss. So we were a little surprised, when we heard that the most popular first date location isn’t a pub, or even a cocktail bar.
Nope, according to research carried out by dating app Clover, the most popular destination for a first date is somewhere much more relaxed and casual than a club or a bar; It’s Starbucks. Women in particular rated coffee shops as their ultimate first date spots, while the guys preffered to hit up a restaurant for a slap up meal.
Whaddya reckon? Would you rather meet your potential new boyfriend over a cappuccino or a cocktail?
