12 Of The Best Artists Who Have Had A Las Vegas Residency
IMAGINE seeing Bette Midler in Vegas.
Christina Aguilera is the latest artist to announce her Las Vegas residency because why the hell not?!
The singer announced that Christina Aguilera: The Xperience will open at Zappos Theatre at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on May 31.
Christina joins a long list of legends who have take to Las Vegas stages over the years, some of the most recently announced including Lady Gaga, Cardi B and Britney Spears.
Here are some of the massive artists who have had residencies in the past (and present).
Celine Dion
Celine’s show, which began in 2011, is still going strong at The Colosseum in LV. However, if you want to see her you better act fast as her last show will be in March of this year.
The Backstreet Boys
The Backstreet Boys residency began in 2017 but is set to end in April. The show features all the band’s favourite hits and even a couple of new songs. Backstreet’s back, alright!
Cher
Music icon Cher has brought her show to the Park Theater at Park MGM. She’s only doing a select few dates so go get yours now!
Blink-182

Rock band Blink-182 had their residency at The Palms in Las Vegas which began in September 2018 and ended in November.

Mariah Carey’s show The Butterfly Returns is still ongoing in The Colosseum is Caesars Palace.
Bette Midler
Bette Midler began her two-year run as a headliner at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in February 2008 with her show The Showgirl Must Go On. An ICON!
Elton John
Elton John isn’t a stranger to Las Vegas residencies. In October 2003, he signed a deal to perform 75 concerts at Caesars Palace in a show called The Red Piano, alternating nights with Celine Dion. He also had a second residency, The Million Dollar Piano, at Caesars in 2011.
Shania Twain
In late 2012, the country singer announced a residency at Caesars Palace by arriving at the casino’s famous fountains on horseback. The show, Still the One, ended in 2014.
Gwen Stefani
Gwen’s Just a Girl residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood began in June of last year and is still going today.
Olivia Newton-John
We would have DIED to see this. Olivia Newton-John’s Vegas residency Summer Nights (omg) lasted for two years from April 2014 to December 2016.
Diana Ross
Diana Ross brought her show The Essential Diana Ross: Some Memories Never Fade to the Venetian Theatre from April 2015 to February 2017.
