2020’s Sexiest Man Alive Has Been Announced

Although 2020 has been a turbulent year to say the least, it wouldn’t be right to head into 2021 without crowning one very good looking man with the title ‘Sexiest Man Alive’, it’d be a sin in fact.

So, sticking with traditions, despite the mayhem of a year we’ve had. People Magazine has announced their Sexiest Man Alive. Taking the 2020 title is actor Michael B Jordan, star of Black Panther and Creed.

The 33-year-old actor is taking over the title from last year’s winner, John Legend, and is currently the cover star of the publication’s November issue.

An online vote crowned him as the winner, and his win was hilariously announced on Jimmy Kimmel’s chat show, where Michael entered the stage in a very apt hazmat suit and following a series of questions, revealed his identity.

Speaking in his interview with People said that he never expected to win the title, but is delighted to now be a part of the club, along with very sexy legends such as David Beckham, Ryan Reynolds and our very own Pierce Brosnan.

“You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.’ But it’s a good club to be a part of.”

Continuing he said that the win not only means a lot to him, but to the females in his family too, who had read the publication religiously for many years.

“When my grandmother was alive, [the magazine] was something that she collected, and then my mom naturally reads it a lot and my aunts as well.

“This is one that they’re definitely going to have a special place for.”

Just one scroll through Michael’s Instagram feed tells us that he is indeed, a very sexy man. But, another ride robbed of the title is Paul Mescal, who was hotly tipped to win this year, but alas, didn’t quite get there.

Maybe next year Paul, eh?
