They know what it takes.

Today marks International Cat Day, the day in which Cat People all over the world have to repeatedly defend their love of felines to Dog People. Or something like that.

While our social media is flooded with celebs and their downright GORGEOUS dogs (hi, Allison Williams and Moxie), it’s a little rarer to see moggies getting their fair dues online.

That’s why we admire these celebrities, who are basically killing it as cat owners, and who provide us with ALL the cute kitty pics we could ever need.

1. Mandy Moore
Mandy loves her pets so much, she applied to her ex Ryan Adams for “pet support” totalling €30,000 a month. To be fair, she has two dogs and six cats, but still, that’s a lotta cash.

He’s certain he’s camouflaged.

2. Taylor Swift
No list of celeb cat owners would be complete without T-Swift and her gals Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey. These two genuinely seem like humans, and very angry, orally fixated humans at that.

3. Ian Somerhalder
Ian and his wife Nikki Reed have a whole brood of pets, but we love their ginger moggy Moke the most.

To document all his birthday parties and the like.

I got a new vest and a party hat and lots of toys. And catnip. And then I bit everyone.

6. Macklemore
Macklemore’s cat Cairo is another A-list feline with his own Instagram feed. Too right, we say.
