A Friends Reunion Special With All Cast Members Is Very Likely To Be On The Way, Hollywood Has Confirmed

If you told us that a Friends reunion special would be on the way a year or so ago we would have never believed you, because something so special just does not happen to people like us.

But, as of today, it has reportedly been confirmed that a Friends reunion featuring the full cast and creators is currently in the works.

Could we BE anymore excited?!

Sources have told The Hollywood Reporter that a deal is far from finalised, but all 6 cast members and creators, David Crane and Marta Kauffman, of the original show, have agreed that they would participate, meaning that the work is currently in early development at HBO Max.

The one-off scripted special would see it’s stars and creators look back at the sitcom’s classic moments, which sounds like an absolute lol fest to us.

While we must reiterate that agreements still need to be hammered out and schedules need to coincide, we have seen members of the Friend’s cast getting very cosy with one another on the gram’ as of late… so we really feel (and pray) that there is indeed some truth to these reports.

Last month Jennifer Aniston said on The Ellen DeGeneres show “We would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying. We’re working on something.”

While we are low key urging Jen and pals to I don’t know, maybe, try harder!? We also know that patience is a virtue. Considering we have held out for 15 years now, we can probably hack another little while.

Right, lads, let’s get our grandmothers to light a few candles and finally get this show on the road, yeah?!
