So, what’s the series about?

Vladimir is a dark and witty novel which follows a female professor navigating the fallout of her husband’s #MeToo scandal.

During this mid-life crisis, of sorts, a new, younger faculty member named Vladimir joins her liberal arts college. The female professor begins to develop an intense obsession with her handsome new colleague.

“There’s definitely comedy and drama. It’s mischievous and a good tonal cocktail for exploring some very serious subjects and issues,” Weisz told Tudum when talking about the new series.

Netflix have described the show as an “irresistible exploration of obsession,” and with its intriguing storyline and standout cast, it’s safe to say Vladimir is going straight on our watchlist.

The series is scheduled to premiere on March 5, 2026 on Netflix.
