A woman in the UK has given birth while at a Pink concert at Anfield.

Denise Jones was due to go into labour three weeks after the gig but the baby came just as Pink started to play her first song, Get This Party Started.

The new mum’s niece Chloe revealed that both the mum and the baby were ‘doing amazing’.

Speaking to BBC Radio Chloe Dryhurst explained that her aunt had been feeling ‘pressure pains’ during the week but didn’t think much of it.

“Before she was going she was fine, she got dressed all nice, everything was fine,” she said.

“But she said once she was in there and the music started that’s when she knew and it was too late then.”

Chloe added that the baby now has a nod to the singer in her name.

“She was going to be Dolly Louise but now she was born at the Pink concert we’ve decided to call her Dolly Pink. It’s good because she’ll be able to tell a story when she’s older,” she said.

It’s not the only significant connection either, as Chloe revealed: “The whole family are Reds so my grandad was so happy [she was born at Anfield].”

Pink also found out about the dramatic birth and shared a snap of the headline on her Instagram.

“Dolly Pink wanted to get the party started,” the So What singer said.
