Adele Puts Engagement Rumours To Rest

She may not be engaged but she is madly in love!

People love to speculate, especially when it comes to relationships and with Adele and Rich Paul, fans couldn’t help but feel like they were engaged.

Ever since the singer was spotted wearing a diamond ring on that finger at the 2022 BRIT Awards, the pair have been sparking engagement rumours for months, with Adele neither confirming nor denying the speculation.

However, in an interview with Elle Magazine, the singer decided to put the story straight on their relationship status.

“I’m not married,” she teased. “I’m not married. I’m not married! I’m just in loooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married.”

She even addressed that giant ring which started it all by saying, “I’m not engaged. I just love high-end jewellery, boy!” We can’t disagree with you there!

Although the pair are not yet engaged, that doesn’t mean there won’t be wedding bells in the future as the Grammy winner revealed to Elle that she “absolutely” wants to tie the knot again. 

And she’s not stopping there, as the mum of one also said she would love to expand her family too. “I definitely want more kids,” she shared. “I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music.”

Adele and sports agent, Rich began dating last year having met at a party a couple of years previous to that, while just earlier this year, the couple decided to move in together. Ahhh, we love a friends to lovers story!

Previous to Rich, Adele had been in an eight-year relationship with ex-husband Simon Konecki, who she shares her 9-year-old son Angelo Adkins with. In an intimate interview with Oprah Winfrey, the singer revealed how determined she was to make it work.

“From a very young age, I promised myself that when I had kids, that we’d stay together. We would be that united family. And I tried for a really, really long time.”

Alas, she has opened up her heart once again and as far as engagements go, we say take your time girl and enjoy being in loooove!
