Ah! So This Is Why Katy Perry Was Notably Absent When Taylor Swift’s Video Premiered At The VMAs

It's understandable, TBF.

Taylor Swift debuted her new single, Look What You Made Me Do, at this year’s VMAs on Sunday night after three years away from the music scene.

The song reportedly disses all the celebrities who’ve tarnished her Reputation (the name of her upcoming album), including Swish Swish singer, Katy Perry.

But K-Pez was nowhere to be seen when the video aired, despite being the host of the Awards. Alas, as it turns out, there’s a totally understandable reason for it.

According to E! News, Katy was backstage changing into one of her ten outfits while the video played to the audience, so she didn’t have a chance to see it. An insider said, “Everyone backstage was going insane over it, and a few people gave her the highlights.”

We wonder if she’s watched it since…
