All The Bits Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Loads of lads

It’s Friday, which means it’s the weekend.

And even though it’s grey and dreary we’re still holding out for a glimmer of sun over Saturday and Sunday.

Come on lads, make it happen.

In the meantime, please enjoy some of the bits we’ve been loving this week. Here you go.

Bronwyn is loving… SPF

Look, I know that the Irish summer is pretty uneventful. But we did have a few sunny days. And even if the sun is not shining we still should be wearing some sort of SPF. I have fallen in love with IMAGE Skincare’s latest Daily Protection range.

The products introduce an unparalleled protection-boosting complex that amplifies its antioxidant potency. With a focus on daily dual defence, these products deliver anti-ageing hydration and sun protection, promoting healthier and more radiant skin.

There are six different products, so there is something for everyone for their daily needs. And if you’re anything like me and not a big fan of wearing a lot of makeup during the summer months, you’ll be delighted to know that there is even a tinted SPF. I mean, how could you not be obsessed?

Jade is loving… Good fashion and great food

I love a good feed, and I adore trying new places to get a good feed around town.

One of the more recent places I had a great feed was Note on Dublin’s Fenian St, and lads, it may have been one of the best dinners I’ve ever had.

I was invited by Cos to come along and celebrate their new summer collection, and enjoy a gorgeous meal of oysters, sea bream, gorgonzola gnocchi, and a brown butter poached pear dessert.

It was next level, legit.

Jade is loving… Unreal skin

Having gotten super into my skincare routine lately (thank you, working from home), I’ve been loving trying out new products, and incorporating new bits into my daily skin sched.

This week, I’ve been dabbing SkinCeuticals’ C E Ferulic serum on my face, and even though it’s early days, I’m pumped to see the results.

The serum is clinically proven to reduce up to 48% of potential damage from free radicals formed by pollution, the sun, and metals, while also improving the skin’s firmness and brightening the complexion too.

What’s more is that SkinCeuticals have just launched their latest serum, the Cell Cycle Catalyst. The exfoliating anti-aging product is clinically tested to peel and enhance cellular turnover at the skin’s surface to smooth texture, improve the appearance of discolouration, and the look of visible lines.

Bronwyn is loving… a good read

Is there anything better than curling up with a good book? Obviously not!

And one of my most anticipated read of the year is here – Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors. The follow up novel to Cleopatra and Frankenstein is here and it is as brilliant as you expect.

It follows three estranged siblings as they return to their family home in New York after their beloved sister’s death in this unforgettable story of grief, hope, and the complexities of family.

Jade is loving… Even more veggie options!

As a pescatarian, I’m always on the hunt for meat substitutes that I can add into my cooking at home, and keep any meat cravings at bay.

Sons of Butchers recently added some new vegan products into their already stacked range – and they’re unreal, honestly.

The Plantchetta (great name) is smokey, tasty, and fries beautifully. I made a veggie carbonara with it during the week and it was class.

They’ve also unveiled their Parmesan substitute, aptly named Parmasham, and as someone who generally doesn’t mess with vegan cheeses, I was pleasantly surprised!

More carbonara to come.
