All The Things Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Just a few bits

Well, it’s over – summer, that is.

Autumn is well and truly here, and we’re getting wrapped up, getting cozy, and getting ourselves a whole load of pumpkin flavoured items for the season ahead.

We’ve also been doing a lot of other things. This is them.

… Minimalist makeup in Ireland

There’s a lot of beauty brands out there – some might say too many.

But when one arrives that has a lot of buzz around it, it’s hard not to get excited. Especially when than brand is Merit.

The minimalist US brand is best known for its “impossible to mess up makeup, skincare, and fragrance products,” including gorgeous, vibrant blushes, foundation sticks, and a fragrance that you’ll want to be smelling all day.

Finally dropping online in Ireland on September 16, Merit is all about simplicity and luxury – and their hero products absolutely scream that.

I’ve been wearing their Signature Lip Lightweight Lipstick all week, and it’s fast becoming my new favourite lip product.

… A good crisp

Hot honey truly is having a moment.

It’s supple, it’s soft, it’s got a gorgeous bit of heat that brings out flavours and provides that little bit of a kick we so often crave from food.

It’s especially good on pizza, and so it made sense that when O’Donnell’s crisps launched their new hot honey fusion flavour, they wanted to do it in collaboration with Square Dish.

The Dublin pizza restaurant recently hosted a party to celebrate the new flavour, and treat guests to a few slices of their cheese and pepperoni deep dish slices… topped with O’Donnell’s crisps, of course.

They’re spicy, and they’re tasty – what more do you want?

… Autumn looks

Autumn is officially here – and with it, knee high boots, cosy jumpers, and a whole load of trench coats.

Zalando recently launched their autumn/winter campaign, and it’s got just about everything you’d need for your September/October style inspo.

Featuring Golden Globe award-winning actress Uma Thurman and multi-platinum recording artist and producer PinkPantheress, the concept invites customers to explore and express their personal style on their own terms.

The shoot is amazing and the pieces are super chic and super cool.

Autumn won’t know what hit it.

… Ultra soft skin

Sometimes, skincare can get a bit complicated.

There’s so much to consider! Serums, squalenes, salicylic acids… Sometimes you just want to go back to basics and use a cream that’s been around for a while, and with good reason.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream first launched in 2006, and has since then established itself as a cult favourite.

The ultra-lightweight, non-greasy formula combines glacial glycoprotein and olive-derived squalane, working to moisturise skin and protect the natural barrier.

It’s been around ages, it’s so reasonably priced, and it does what it says on the tin. Gorge.

… A 500 year old tipple

There are few brands that have been around for 500 years – Disaronno is one of them.

The delicious Italian liqueur has its 500th birthday this year, and Team STELLAR was out in force to celebrate.

Disaronno hosted a stunning celebration in Dublin’s Delahunt Sitting Room, boasting some cocktail favourites, classic spritzes, and tasty espresso martinis.

It may be summer, but the dolce vita is endless…

… A night of songs and stories

If you’re a fan of trad, this one’s for you.

The Dubliners Encore is here, and it’s got 50 years of songs, stories, and craic… all in one stage show.

Produced by The Dubliners’ John Sheahan; renowned fiddle player and legendary Irish icon, with the band’s original record producer Phil Coulter as Musical Director, The Dubliners Encore is the official story of the band in their heyday.

The show will have you singing your heart out to Dubliners classics like Whiskey in the Jar, Seven Drunken Nights, The Irish Rover, and more.
