Amber Wise’s Famous Dad Shares His Thoughts On Sammy Root

Sammy might have ended his relationship with Amber in last night’s Love Island, but the real drama is happening outside the villa! As Amber’s footballer father Dennis Wise has shared his thoughts on Sammy.

It safe to say Dennis wasn’t a fan of his daughter’s now ex-beau.

“Let’s just say Sammy wouldn’t be welcome at home at present,” he told The Sun. From Lifted Entertainment

“He’s not The One. Amber felt used I think and it’s disappointing to see as a father,” Dennis continued.

“I am protective of her, all fathers are of their daughters.”

Dennis’ football career saw him join the Wimbledon F.C’s notably aggressive team in the 80s, nicknamed the Crazy Gang. “She’s never brought a boyfriend home so I’ve not had to bring out the Crazy Gang side just yet,” he joked.

However, after last night’s episode Dennis definitely won’t be happy as Sammy ending his relationship with Amber.

He had been in a love tringle with the 19-year-old and OG islander Jess, since returning from the Casa Amor recoupling, and decided to try things with Jess.

Pulling Amber for a chat he said: “I just wanted to have a little chat with you,” with Amber repling: “I feel like I know where this is going.”

He continued: “Where my head is at right now, I thought my head was going to stay this way, like it is very much Jess.”

“That’s fine, if that’s the way you feel,” Amber told him.

“I’ve tried to be as transparent as I can throughout, but I feel like it’s got to a point where I don’t want it to seem as a case of me leading you on, I just want to be real,” Sammy confessed

Amber simply told him:”It’s fine,” and the pair hugged.
