An Explainer Of The Beef Between Kim And Kourtney Kardashian

DJ Khalid - Another One

Kim and Kourtney are beefing again.

In a not-so-shocking twist of events, the Kardashian sisters have had another fairly public scrap in which their grievances have been aired for the entire world to see.

Or at least, for anyone who watches The Kardashians to see.

In the season four premier of the reality show, the sisters exchanged a fairly heated phone call in which Kourtney dubbed Kim “egotistical” and Kim took aim at Kourtney via her children.

“You’re talking about the bullshit details because it’s all your egotistical, selfish mind can think about,” Kourtney said.

“You cannot stand someone else being the centre of attention. You came to my wedding, you couldn’t be happy, you complained from the second you got there until the second you left.

“Forget about you couldn’t be happy, you couldn’t be happy for me.”

“I want you to dig deep and figure out why you hate me so much and why you are so angry with me because all of this never happened!” Kim replied.

“I was so happy for you […] You take it all out on me and I’m trying the best I can to reconcile and figure it out and call you.”

“It’s about you! You are a narcissist. It is all about you!” Kourtney said.

“Anything you do it is about you and about how it looks to the world. So you just want to clear up your facts. Take out my whole f*cking side of the episode I don’t give a f*ck what anyone thinks about me.”

Kim then said that Kourtney’s children had seemingly come to her about “problems” they were having with their mother – a statement which caused Kourtney to start crying.

“Is that helpful?” she asked. “You’re like adding it into a fight to have a side like it’s you and my friends and my kids and everyone against me.”

Kourtney then added: “You’re just a f*cking witch and I f*cking hate you.”

Harsh all round, really.

So, what exactly were the pair arguing about, and why is everyone (even people who couldn’t care less about this show) talking about it?

The fight follows on from last season’s Dolce & Gabbana storyline in which Kim agreed to do a partnership with the brand, just six months after the fashion house designed Kourtney’s wedding dress.

Kourtney said that she didn’t think it was “cool” that Kim agreed to the partnership after attending her wedding to Travis Barker, when previously she had no interest in the campaign.

“I think it was what you saw at the wedding because nobody had any interest before that,” she said. “You saw this thing that was mine and wasn’t yours, and you wanted it.”

Kim refuted this claim by saying that she actively avoided her own partnership being similar to Kourtney’s wedding: “It’s not that original. Everyone does ’90s, it’s not a new concept.”

The beef was apparently squashed following season three’s bust up, but reignited when Kim asked Kourtney to come to Milan with her as part of the campaign.

Kourtney, unsurprisingly, declined.

Arguably, siblings have fights like this all the time. They spit fire, they go for the jugular, they treat each other worse than they’ve ever treated anyone.

But it wasn’t just the choice words that have got people debating the debacle – it was Kim’s decision to use Kourtney’s kids against her.

So, who’s side are you on? Is Kim in the wrong? Should Kourtney get over it? Do you even care?

Regardless, you’re probably going to be seeing a lot of more of the sisters’ beef on the TL this weekend.

Get ready.
