Ariana Grande Paid Tribute To Mac Miller While Kicking Off Her World Tour

Her first show was memorable to say the least.

Ariana Grande kicked off her Sweetener/Thank U, Next world tour in Albany last night and we’re super jealous of anyone who got to witness the QUEEN back in action.

The singer got a tattoo to commemorate her first show, and also used the gig to pay homage to a very special person.

According to fans who were lucky enough to get tickets for the opening night of the tour, Ariana chose to play some of Mac Miller’s music as everyone waited for her to take the stage.

“Ariana Grande is playing Mac Miller right before her opening song for Sweetener tour rn and my heart can’t handle it SO MANY TEARS,” one fan tweeted.

The 25-year-old has paid tribute to her ex-boyfriend a number of times since his sudden death back in September, including with a tattoo of his dog’s name on her foot.

Many of her fans believe a large number of her songs allude to Mac and their relationship, including ‘Imagine’ and ‘Ghostin’.

We’re too emotional about this.
