Ariana Grande Politely Declined A Damehood Following Her One Love Manchester Concert

Ariana Grande has shown time after time that she has the resilience and strength of someone far beyond her years, and has been an inspiration to many!

Following the devastating attacks carried out at her concert in Manchester in May 2017, the One Last Time singer organised a benefit concert for the families of the 22 victims, and brought together a city that had taken a huge hit.

Since then, it has emerged the Ariana was offered a Damehood for her services to the city of Manchester, which she politely turned down.

“Ariana was flattered but said it was too soon. She explained she was still grieving. So were scores of families.” a source told The Sun.

“She feared some affected might see it as insensitive. The committee wrote to her but she politely said no.”
