ATTN: Katy Perry May Have Just Changed Her Swish Swish Lyrics To End Her Feud With Taylor Swift

“God bless her on her journey.”

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift

The Katy Perry-Taylor Swift drama rolls on but if recent events are anything to go by, it seems like the pair might finally be ending their years-long feud.

The latest development in the singers’ dramas is an interesting change to the lyrics in Katy Perry’s latest single Swish Swish, a song that’s believed to be a Taylor Swift diss.

Instead of singing the line “Don’t you come for me”, Katy changed the lyric to “God bless you on your journey, oh baby girl” during a live-streamed performance.

Why’s that significant?

Well, the words echo comments Katy made about her former BFF in an interview on the Today Show on Monday.

“All I need to say to her is I love her, and God bless her on her journey. And that’s it,” Katy said on the show.

In a recent podcast with Ariana Huffington, Katy also apologised to Taylor, saying “I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. I love her, and I want the best for her.”

So there you have it. Is KP extending an olive branch to Taylor? It certainly sounds like it.
