Austin Butler Just Made A Rare Comment About His Breakup With Vanessa Hudgens

Heartbreak hotel...

Austin Butler, star of the upcoming Elvis movie, has been busy promoting his upcoming project, attending events and doing interviews. The actor is usually very private about his love life, although we have seen him full of PDA recently with Kaia Gerber…

But when asked about his breakup with former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens, the actor made a rare comment on their shock split telling GQ Hype, “Life is full of changes and you’ve got to find a way to constantly be evolving and growing.”

The former couple were together for nearly nine years before they went their separate ways back in 2020. The breakup news came as a shock to fans as the pair seemed pretty loved up as recent as 2019 when Austin gushed about V at the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood premiere according to E! News.]


He told E! News at the time, “It’s hard for me to even put into words how much that girl means to me…I’m so inspired by her every day and just love her to my core.”

As well as this, in August 2019 Vanessa posted a sweet birthday message for her then boyfriend saying, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂🎁🎈🎉 to my love, my other half, my constant Inspiration and supporter. My best friend. My everything✨ @austinbutler ✨28 is going to be 🔥🔥.”

It’s always sad hearing of a breakup, but when they use terms like “love her to my core” and “my everything”?! Devo!

Both Austin and Vanessa have moved on from the heartbreak since the split, with Vanessa dating baseball player Cole Tucker and Austin most recently being seen with Kaia Gerber in a steamy embrace at Cannes Film Festival Elvis premiere.

We must say Austin and Kaia are a very gorgeous couple and we are here for the red carpet PDA, everybody is doing it these days.
