Authorities Are Searching For Naya Rivera After Her Son Was Found Alone

In breaking news, actress Naya Rivera is missing in Los Angeles. It has been confirmed that authorities found her four-year-old son alone on a boat in the middle of Lake Piru.

According to NBC4 L.A., a search began for Naya and her son Josey Dorsey after Naya failed to return a rental boat to the facilities after the allocated time she paid for. Afterwards, her son Josey was found alone on the boat.

Further reports state that it is presumed Naya rented the boat to enjoy an evening of swimming with her son. While Josey was found wearing a life jacket, it is presumed that Naya was not as an adult-sized life jacket was found onboard.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Eric Buschow spoke to The Los Angeles Times about Josey, saying “He’s in good health. The family is going through a very traumatic time right now.”

Since the news broke, Naya’s Glee co-stars have voiced their hopes for Naya. With Heather Morris posting on Instagram “We need all the prayers we can get to bring our Naya back home to us. We need your love and light.” While Harry Shum Jr simply tweeted “Praying.”

We hope that Naya is found safe and well, and our thoughts go out to her family and friends at this difficult time.
