Avril Lavigne Is Engaged!

Everyone’s favourite 00’s punk rock princess has found her Mr Right!

Avril Lavigne got engaged in Paris over the weekend to her boyfriend of one-year rock artist Mod Sun.

The couple shared the news on Instagram after Avril was spotted out and about with a rock on her finger, which had rumours swirling.

Posting some sweet snaps from the special moment Avril wrote, “Oui! Je t’aime pour toujours 🤍💍🥂Dimanche. 27. Mars. 2022.”

Mod Sun shared a heartfelt poem to his future wife saying;

“The day we met I knew you were the one.
Together forever til our days are done.
I had a dream where I proposed in paris.
I pulled out a ring + asked you to wear it.
I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes.
You’re too beautiful for my words to describe.
I grabbed your hand + took one last breath…
I said “will you marry me?” + she said “yes”.

This is the third rock and roll engagement as of late, first Kourtney and Travis, then MGK and Megan Fox and now Avril and Mod Sun, this trilogy of weddings is about to be iconic.

Kourtney shared her love for her friend in the comments section with a red heart emoji.

Avril and Mod Sun began dating in 2021 just after they collaborated on music together.

Mod Sun has previously been in a polyamorous relationship with Tana Mongeau and Bella Thorne, as well as monogamous relationships with both Bella and Tana on separate occasions after.

Avril has been married and divorced twice before first to Deryck Whibley from 2006-2010 then Chad Kroeger from 2013-1016.

We expect these two will wed sometime soon as their romance has been a whirlwind so far!
