Best Gift Ever? Chrissy Teigen Gave A Fan A F*ck Load Of Money To Pay For Her College Tuition

Mercedes Edney from Charlotte, North Carolina started an online fundraiser last month to raise money for aesthetician school. Aestheticians are people who work at salons and spas, and they do various cosmetic procedures like facials, body treatments, and waxing.

On her YouCaring page, she wrote she wanted $5,995 to “further my skin care knowledge by getting my license in aesthetics” as there are no scholarships available for that particular course.

She had raised almost $300 by Friday, when Chrissy Teigen was super sound and paid off the rest.

Mercedes was so overwhelmed by Teigen’s generosity that she took to Twitter to thank her publicly.

“THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!! @chrissyteigen I don’t even know how else to thank you right now,” she wrote.

Chrissy soon replied, “I’m really excited for you to live out your passion,” followed by three red heart emojis.
