Beyoncé Has Opened Up About How Her Miscarriage Has Led Her To Search For A ‘Deeper Meaning’ In Life

“I began to search for deeper meaning when life began to teach me lessons”

Beyoncé has opened up about suffering a miscarriage in the past, and how it lead her to look for a deeper meaning in her life.

Beyoncé, who is a mam to seven year old Blue Ivy, and twin toddlers Rumi and Sir, revealed in a candid interview with Elle magazine that she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage before the birth of her eldest daughter Blue.

Speaking about the traumatic time she said:

“Having miscarriages taught me that I had to mother myself before I could be a mother to someone else.”

“I began to search for deeper meaning when life began to teach me lessons I didn’t know I needed.”

As with many first time mothers, Bey went on to explain how welcoming Blue into the world changed her perspective on life.

“Then I had Blue, and the quest for my purpose became so much deeper”

“Being ‘number one’ was no longer my priority. My true win is creating art and a legacy that will live far beyond me. That’s fulfilling.”

“Children and maturity have taught me to value myself beyond my physical appearance and really understand that I am more than enough no matter what stage I’m at in life.”

Opening up and being so honest about her deepest thoughts is an unusual move for Beyoncé, as she generally keeps her private life private. So sharing such thoughts is a real treat for fans, showing us that even Beyoncé deals with struggles.

“Giving zero fucks is the most liberating place to be. Also knowing true beauty is something you cannot see.”
