Blac Chyna Is Facing Backlash For Creating A Skin Lightening Cream

People are very angry at Blac Chyna after she announced her new skin lightening cream with beauty brand Whitenicious.

Everyone was freaked after Chyna announced her new product, a Diamond Illuminating & Lightening Cream, on her Instagram account, telling fans she would be travelling Nigeria to promote the cream.

In a post on her Instagram, she wrote: “Lagos Nigeria, join me at the first official launch of my face cream, this Sunday November 25th, at the Whitenicious store from 1-5pm. Everyone is invited”. The ad shows a very light-skinned Chyna holding the cream.

The comments on the post have been turned off, however that didn’t stop people from complaining about the product on Twitter.

The $250 cream which comes in a “handcrafted” Swarovski crystal jar, promises to hydrate, restore and lighten skin tone “without bleaching it out”. Over time users are expected to notice a “marked reduction” in age spots and a lightened appearance. Chyna is yet to comment on the controversy.
