Blake Lively Was Obsessed With Avoca While She Was Living In Ireland

We can relate, Blake.

Blake Lively red carpet

If you were lucky enough to get a glimpse of Blake Lively while she was filming in Dublin early this year we are super jealous.

The 31-year-old actress was in Ireland filming scenes for her latest film The Rhythm Section for most of 2018, and she fell in love with our little country while doing so. Bless her.

Now you’d think Blake’s favourite thing about our historical lands would be something terribly tourist-y like the Book of Kells or the Blarney Stone, but no, the A-list star is a big fan of the loved-by locals Avoca.

In a recent interview with Independent.ie, Blake said that Avoca stole her heart.

“Oh my God can we talk about Avoca, have you guys been to Avoca?” she asked.

“How it’s described in the bible is inaccurate, heaven is what Avoca is… it’s just heaven.”

“Everybody’s gonna be like ‘she’s disgracing the bible’ – I was joking world.”

We do have an Avoca in Dublin, but Blake is talking about the one in Wicklow…but it’s whatever.

The mother-of-two also said she’d love to make Dublin her second home, telling the Independent:

Well if everybody goes and sees The Rhythm Section in theatres in February then we will have to make a few more, there is about five books so it will be our second home – Dublin will be my second home.

The movie is expected to be released in early 2019.
