Body Hair Is Hot On The Runway, So Here’s Some Iconic Hairy Moments

We know that body hair is no big deal – in fact, it’s perfectly natural.

But with shaved legs and armpits still the norm in the mainstream, there’s no denying that it feels refreshing to see women push back and embrace their bodies just as they are.

Last week, fashion house Maison Margiela took to the runway with beautiful designs which drew attention to one kind of body hair in particular; pubic hair!

Fashion fans were surprised and delighted by the overt sight of body hair on the runway, which is a rare occurrence in the high fashion scene.

We can only hope this is a step in the right direction toward embracing hair on women’s bodies, and that we might get to see more body hair looks going forward!

Of course, not removing your natural hair shouldn’t be a statement of any kind; it’s a total non-action that’s been completely stigmatised by the patriarchy.
