Getting tatted requires some thought, and there’s so much variety in styles and talents across the country that it can be hard to know who to trust with adding permanent art to your bod.

We’ve compiled a couple of seriously skilled ladies who are making waves in the Irish tattoo world, so whether it’s your first tiny tattoo hidden somewhere discreet or you’re adding to an already jam-packed canvas, we’re sure you’ll find someone in this list who can do the job.

Happy tattooing!

Girls Don’t Cry

Girls Don’t Cry is as badass as it sounds – a tattoo shop set up by four women with distinct styles and skills. Take a look through their Instagram to see Maja’s perfect blend of neo-traditional and feminine, Lucy’s dramatic collection of mystical and gothic pieces, Niamh’s bright, punchy and bold work, and Agne’s enchanting tattoos that are both dynamic and surreal.

Also working out of the shop is tattoo artist Gary, who does unique and striking hand-poked pieces. Check out their fab studio at 18 Eustace Street, Temple Bar in Dublin.
