Britney Spears Bounces Back On Instagram Amid Sam Asghari Breakup

She's not letting a breakup bring her down!

News broke yesterday evening that Britney Spears is separating from her husband Sam Asghari.

The pair were married in June 2022 after five years together. Britney first met Sam on the set of her Slumber Party music video in 2016, and Sam popped the question in September 2021.

A source told news outlet NBC that the split is confirmed, noting that it’s “best for Britney”, without elaborating.

Reportedly Sam filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”. Their date of separation is allegedly listed as July 28th, 2023.

As for any public response, neither Britney or Sam have commented on the situation. However, Britney isn’t letting the breakup affect her social media status, bouncing back to Instagram amidst the news with a post about buying a horse.

The singer shared a snap of her riding a horse on the beach, writing “Buying a horse soon!!! So many options it’s kinda hard!!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar?? I can’t make up my mind!!!”

The post feels a little random considering the news surrounding her right now, but it does fall in line with Britney’s usual posting, which we hope means she’s doing okay throughout it all.

Comments on the post were switched off, but fans took to Twitter to share their support for Britney – and their appreciation for her nonchalant life update.

We hope everything works out the best for Britney – and that she buys herself that horse!
