Britney Spears’ Estranged Mother Has Reacted To Her Wedding

Britney Spears’ and her long-time beau Sam Asghari, tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony this week.

The day was stunning, as the pair said ‘I do’ surrounded by their friends. But Brit opted out of inviting her family to the big day. With her mother, father and sister, not receiving invitations.

Unsurprising considering her rocky relationship with them, following her 13-year-long conservatorship, during which time her father Jamie was co-conservator. She has previously said in court that the conservatorship was allegedly abusive and controlling her life.

But now her mother Lynne is sharing her thoughts on Brit and Sam’s marriage. Commenting on Britney’s photos from the big day she wrote, “You look radiant and so happy!”

Continuing, “Your wedding is the ‘Dream’ wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special!”

“I am soooo happy for you! I love you!”

Brit has yet to respond but has made her feelings known in the past. Sharing how hurt she was by those involved with the conservatorship and those who enabled it. Taking a step back from certain people in her life.

Britney had an amazing day celebrating with her new husband and their friends.

Attending the wedding was her long time friend Madonna, who Brit collaborated in the noughties on the track Me Against The Music. The pair even recreated their iconic VMA kiss from 19-years-ago.

Drew Barrymore, was also there, and following the wedding she shared a sweet tribute to Britney.

Writing on IG, “What I learned from Ever After is that we must rescue ourselves and yet still want the fairy tale. And that’s exactly what Britney did! I couldn’t not be happier for her intrepid journey”

Also celebrating with the happy couple was Paris and Kathy Hilton. Paris and Brit go way back and were constantly seen partying together in the 2000’s. Paris was also very vocal about her support for the #FreeBritney movement, and was against the conservatorship.

Selena Gomez, also scored an invite to their fab wedding. She is a long-time Britney fan, often citing Baby One More Time as her favourite song ever.

Another wedding guest was Brit’s pal Donatella Versace, who also designed the wedding dress.
