But What Is Julia & Lorenzo’s Relationship Status?

They came. They saw. They met in Casa Amor and went on to win the entirety of Love Island despite being the only couple who weren’t in a relationship – Lorenzo and Julia are back in London and have been spending… not much time together, apparently.

It’s only been a mere week since their Love Island win, and already split rumours are abound. Which isn’t great, really.

It’s giving Samie and Ciaran, in that Julia seems pretty into Lorenzo but he’s been liking other girls’ posts on Instagram already.

And although the fan fav hasn’t exactly moved on with Tyrique Hyde, fans are confused as to what the pair’s actual relationship status is.

Here’s what we know.

Airport arrival

Julia and Lorenzo landed back in the UK last week, alongside other finalists Jasmine and Kavan, and Simba and Angelista.

The pair posed for pictures in the arrivals hall, where they held hands and kissed, before meeting up with Lorenzo’s family and leaving the airport.

Both islanders said that winning the show had been “very surreal.”

The likes

A mere few days after getting his phone back, Lorenzo was getting busy in the likes of some Instagram models. Yes, really.

Instead of spending time with Julia, who he is apparently exclusive with, by the way, Lorenzo seemed to be back to his pre-villa ways as he dropped some likes into the Insta ether.

Where everybody could see, of course.

The likes appeared on photos shared by models Lene Voight, Bella Salerno, and Mary HS.

Lorenzo has since removed the like from the latter’s photo, and in fairness to him, he does follow both Lene and Bella, so maybe they’re pals of his. Maybe.

Julia and Lorenzo attempted to set things straight during a This Morning appearance, where host Josie pressed the pair on their current relationship status.

Lorenzo said that the pair were “still exclusive”, saying: “As we’ve left the villa, we’re still in the same place, exclusively dating…Everything needs to settle down. Then we’re going to go on some lovely dates.”

He added: “Feelings are developing, it’s in the right position… so I feel like give it some time…”

Julia then asked “where is the date?” confirming that she and Lorenzo had yet to spend public time together since leaving the villa.

The date in question

Lorenzo did indeed keep his promise, as he and Julia enjoyed some food and drinks in an unknown London location on Monday evening.

The pair each shared a photo of each other, and Lorenzo shared a selfie of them both, albeit quite blurry.
