Cadbury Just ‘Revamped’ The Purple Rose And People Aren’t Coping Well
There's also going to be a new box. Can't be dealing.
We’ve dealt with a lot of changes to the treasured Cadbury Roses formula in recent years: smaller boxes, the removal of the Dairy Milk chunk, the unwelcome change of the green wrapper from Caramel to Coffee Escape.
But now the chocolate giant is messing with one of the most highly worshipped members of the Roses family, the purple Hazel In Caramel Rose.
According to a release from Cadbury today, the shape of both the purple and green Roses will be switched up to give them “smoother contours” ensuring they “melt in the mouth easily.”

There’s also be a new ‘flow wrap’ tearable wrapper instead of the traditional twist wrap.
To make matters even more hard to cope with, Cadbury have also revealed a new Roses box.

The changes haven’t gone down too well over on Twitter:

Cadbury’s are getting rid of the foil wrappers for Roses. I’ll stick to Quality Street then, or the cats won’t have anything to chase after.
