Calvin Harris Marries TV Presenter Vick Hope

Calvin Harris is married!

The iconic musician has tied the knot in a private ceremony to his girlfriend Vick Hope.

According to People, the pair held their wedding earlier this month at a lavish estate in Alnwick, Northeast England.

For those of you who don’t know her, Calvin’s new wife Vick is a TV and radio presenter from Newcastle On Tyne.

She previously hosted the breakfast show on Capital FM, and now hosts three shows a week on BBC Radio 1; Life Hacks, Official Chart: First Look, and Going Home With Vick And Jordan.

Vick and Calvin first met back in 2007, when she rejected him! Calvin reportedly asked her on a date, and she was too “shallow” to say yes, she said on Capital FM.

“I can’t believe….he looked how he used to look, I was shallow. I was 19, and I said no, and I went off with either Scouting for Girls or The Wombats. I don’t know which. I thought they were going to be bigger, but no, it turns out Calvin Harris was going to turn into an Adonis”, Vick joked.

She told You magazine that there’s no hard feelings though; “It’s something that we laughed about on our first proper date.” And clearly they’re happier than ever!

In 2022, the pair were first romantically linked again, and rumours were sparked in May when Vick was spotted out and about with an emerald-cut engagement ring.

Still, they stayed low-key about the proposal, and have rarely addressed their relationship publicly since.

Vick told You magazine that “There’s a difference between secrecy and privacy…we don’t really put anything on social media because the time we have together is ‘real life’ and it’s our own.”
