To say Cameron Diaz is a legend…well that’s just an understatement! She has one of the most successful careers in Hollywood.

Seriously, she’s starred in everything from My Best Friends Wedding, to The Mask, ohh and she even starred in Shrek (Princess Fiona 4eva), along with the role in Charlie’s Angels, Bad Teacher, What Happens In Vegas, Annie, My Sister’s Keeper, honestly the list goes on and we could gush all day.

But alas, her acting career ended in 2018, when she announced her retirement from the industry, wanting to focus on raising her daughter, Raddix, with hubby Benji Maddox (that’s right, she’s married to the guy from Good Charlotte! Could she get any cooler?)

But now Cam is coming out of retirement and stepping back into the world of acting, with her upcoming film (fittingly titled) Back in Action.

But how exactly is she feeling about her first film back, since 2014?

Well, Cameron opened up to Jimmy Fallon, explaining how she is nervous but still excited about returning.

Explaining: “I’m both. It’s a little bit of muscle memory, you know what I mean? It’s sort of like I did that for so long, it’s kind of like the process, I kind of just fell back into it. But it feels a little bit different.”

But it turns out, Back In Action was the perfect film for her comeback. As it also stars Jamie Foxx, who she starred alongside in Annie, the last film she worked on.

Sharing how much she appreciated having him be there for her return, Cam said: “I’ve also made two movies with Jamie, which is amazing. … The last movie I made was Annie with Jamie, and so the first movie back is this film with Jamie,”

“So, it’s amazing. He’s so great, he’s so easy, he’s so professional, he’s so talented, and just being able to work with him, it’ll be so much fun.”

Cameron’s return to the silver screen was announced back in June, when Jamie shared a hilarious phone between himself and Cameron…and also Tom Brady who he invited for advice on how to unretire.

Sharing the clip on Twitter, Jamie wrote: “Cameron I hope you aren’t mad I recorded this, but no turning back now. Had to call in the GOAT to bring back another GOAT.”

“I’m so anxious right now, I’m, like, pacing the room. I feel excited, but I don’t know how to do this, ya know?” Cam explains in the clip.

With Jamie replying “Listen, I got somebody on the other line that can help you with this. Can I click him in?” Then saying: “Cameron, it’s the GOAT,” as Tom said hello.

“Oh, my God, is this Tom Brady?” Cameron exclaimed.
