Camila Cabello Admitted To Stealing A Pencil From Kensington Palace, And Wills And Kate Responded

"I'm sorry, William, and I'm sorry, Kate."

Camila Cabello admitted to stealing a pencil from Kensington Palace, and Prince William and Kate responded with a choice emoji.

The singer was on Greg James’ show on BBC Radio 1 when the host reminded her that she’d been a very bold girl in Kensington Palace, the location of Radio 1’s Teen Heroes celebration last month.

Apparently, Greg dared Camila to steal a pencil from the Palace… and she did.

“I was like, ‘You triple-doggy dare me?’ And you can’t not do a triple-doggy dare,” she said. “If there’s anything I learned in my life, it’s that. So I did it.”

However, James proved he’s a little gurrier himself by immediately ratting on Camila to palace staff.

“You, to one of the palace people, called me out on it, and were like ‘She stole a pencil!’,” Camila continued – and while her mum urged her to give it back, she couldn’t resist keeping it as a souvenir. “I’m sorry. I still have it. I’m sorry William, and I’m sorry, Kate.”

Responding to a clip of the interview on Twitter, the official Kensington Palace account sent a simple but effective message to Camila and Greg:

Eyes emoji indeed. Greg is only mortified, considering that on the very same day he was told off by Wills for joking about Princess Charlotte shaking hands with her teacher on her first day of school.

“They were listening on the morning Charlotte went to school… I saw the photo during the show and said ‘Who the hell shakes hands with their teacher on the first day?'” Greg said.

“They said, ‘We were listening on the morning of little Charlotte’s first day, and we want to talk to you about the handshaking thing.’ I went: ‘Oh god, no!’ They’d heard me saying that this school was so posh they had to shake hands with their teacher every day.”

Seems like the Palace has a sense of humour though, so hopefully neither Greg nor Camila will be barred. Hopefully.
