Carol Baskin Is Tipped For This Year’s I’m A Celeb

“Jungle producers have made a formal approach and hope she will do it.”

There’s a meme doing the rounds at the moment that says something along the lines of, ‘Tiger King lockdown feels like years ago’, and we couldn’t agree more. TikTok and Twitter exploded with viral videos and memes relating to the show as we were all pretty much obsessed with it.

However, now it feels like the hype around the show could have easily happened in 2019, as our sense of time has become so warped in lockdown.

The show coincided with the very start of the Covid-19 lockdown and the timing couldn’t have been better. The seven part documentary followed the insane world of big cat owners in the US, as well as a subsequent fued between Carol Baskin and Joe Exotic.

Good morning cats and kittens

Since the show ended Carol Baskin, owner of Big Cat Rescue, has become an unusual character in pop culture, with some classing her as a husband killing villain, and others as a victim of Joe Exotic’s incessant hatred. Whatever you think of her, she’s become pretty big since the documentary’s release, many catching on to her signature video intro; “Hello all you cool cats and kittens.”

Now there are rumours that she’d tipped for the next season of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.’ The Sun has reported that Carol has been offered a deal to take part and that; “Jungle producers have made a formal approach and hope she will do it.”

We have to admit, we’d love to see it.
