Adam Fogarty Chats Barbie And Teases New Projects

It’s not every day that you get to talk to a real life Ken.

Adam Fogarty is our very own Irish Ken! He appeared in the Barbie Movie, showing off his dance skills.

Really, he is the perfect Ken!

“It was incredible to be a part of something that has taken over the whole world. It was really amazing to be a part of it,” he tells us at the Hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards launch.

“It was really magical. I have seen it three times in the cinema! Overall the emotions are so incredible. It really encapsulates real life in so many ways, it’s beautiful.”

And he’ll be pretty busy for the next few months as he teases his upcoming projects.

“I worked on another movie which is coming out later in the year which is really exciting!” he reveals, although he keeps tight-lipped about what that film could be.

“I have another job coming up at the end of August which is a bit more on the creative side. I’ll be working as a choreographer which is really exciting. And I’ll be doing lots more on socials so there’s lots across the board.”

And he’ll be back on the red carpet in September for the Hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards where he is nominated for  Rising InstaStar sponsored by Instagram.

“This is very new to me. I didn’t know I was nominated until about 15 minutes ago. I’m very excited,” he tells us.

Of course, starring in movies is a dream come true for Adam, so we had to ask him what advice he would give to little Adam who worked so hard to get here.

“Listen to no one else but yourself! Have faith in yourself, like I did at such a young age and keep going and know it’s going to happen,” he says.

And he’s so right!
