Cardi B Files For Divorce From Offset, Following Three Years Of Marriage

The pair are calling it a day on their marriage, after marrying in secret back in 2017.

Rapper Cardi B has filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Offset.

It comes as a pretty big surprise to fans, as she regularly talks about him on her social media, and the two always seem loved up. They secretly got married back in 2017, and a year later July 2018 their daughter Kulture was born.

Cardi has reportedly filed the divorce as “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for a reconciliation”, so basically they’re donezo, never getting back together ever again – yikes!

However, for some people, the news doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, as just last week Cardi posted a seriously cryptic message on her Instagram story, a quote which read: “Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time”, along with the caption “t’s time 😉“.

Cardi and Offset had previously parted ways shortly after their wedding back in 2017, with Offset being caught up in a cheating scandal. The two eventually worked through their issues, but it wasn’t without some drama on the way.

Offset was dedicated to showing Cardi that he’s sorry for what he did, and even went as far as showing up with a bouquet of flowers on stage during one of Cardi’s shows, with signs reading ‘take me back’. While Cardi didn’t exactly rush into his arms at that moment, she did eventually forgive him, telling Vogue magazine:

“Everybody has issues. I believe in forgiveness.”

Right now it’s not known if Cardi and Offset are caught up in another cheating scandal, causing their final break-up, but knowing Cardi she’ll be quick to fill us in if that is the case.
